Smoopa Shopping Companion Adds New Retailers, Improves Search And Raises More Funding To Help You Never Overpay

With the holiday season coming up fast, we have three new things to celebrate: more retailers, more features, and more funding. Whether you’re shopping for last-minute Halloween decor or looking for holiday gifts, Smoopa can now save you even more time and money. Smoopa Shopping for Android and iOS helps you shop with confidence and never overpay. You can compare prices from popular stores, get alerts when prices drop, and earn rewards for sharing prices with others. You can even opt to donate those rewards to charity.

Just in time for the holidays, we’re now working with Kmart, eBags, Sally Beauty Supply, and Sierra Trading Post, increasing the number of retail partners by 30% to a total of 17. Whether you're traveling to visit family, attending a glamorous party, or trying to find the perfect gift, these retailers have what you need. They join Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Amazon, Macy’s, Kohl’s, JCPenney, Nordstrom, Sephora, Beauty.com, Rakuten Shopping, TigerDirect, and Drugstore.com and increase total number of products on Smoopa to over 70 million.

Today, we’re also launching an updated Smoopa for Android app that has new and improved search features, with an iOS update coming soon. Last year we added the ability to create collections, so you can organize and share your favorite Halloween costumes, tech gadgets, and wishlists with the Smoopa community, your friends on Smoopa and across your social networks. Now you can search for collections to get inspiration and discover other collections of interest to you. Plus we've improved how you search for items and people, helping you easily find what you want and trendspotters to follow. If you see a product you like, add it to your wishlist and we’ll automatically alert you when the price drops. Shoppers have already found more than $8 million in savings by shopping smarter with Smoopa in all 50 U.S. states.

Last but not least, we have closed half a million in additional funding for our small independent startup currently incubated at First Floor Labs in Palo Alto, for a total of over $1 million raised to date. Our investors now include Marissa Mayer (president and CEO of Yahoo!) and Doug Edwards (Google's first Director of Marketing and Brand Management and author of I'm Feeling Lucky: The Confessions of Google Employee Number 59). Marissa and Doug join other investors including Dennis Hwang (Google's first Doodler), Nate Johnson (LinkedIn Consumer Product Marketing Lead) and Peter Weck (SimplyHired Co-Founder and CTO) in supporting Smoopa’s mission of helping people shop with confidence.

So check out the new retailers and features on Smoopa and gear up for serious holiday shopping savings.

These changes make it easier for customers to locate the greatest offers and stay under budget. The app is a useful tool for astute shoppers trying to save money because of its improved UI and larger list of retailers. The general law in the USA is a complex and evolving system rooted in both federal and state jurisdictions. It encompasses a wide range of legal principles, including constitutional, statutory, and case law. The system aims to balance individual rights with public order and safety. While it provides a framework for justice and legal processes, its complexity and variation across states can pose challenges.
